During the 2023-24 school year, students participated in a school program in partnerships with CEI (Center for Educational Innovation). Teaching Artists from CEI worked alongside classroom teachers to deliver a robust visual arts curriculum that addresses contemporary social issues. This includes visits with distinguished and world renowned Guest Artists, and culminates in the creation and public display of meaningful, issue-based works of art on benches in all five boroughs. The program culminated in a students created a bench that is displayed in the school lobby.
